So there we were driving home verbal assaults on various topics in Sonic Planet Studios. We being Alan W, Eric Bee and myself. EB’s new record provided a tasty soundtrack for our discussion. The road led us to our heroes. It first started out as our favorite musicians but soon evolved into the proverbial top 10. The hero is often simply an ordinary person in extraordinary circumstances, who, despite the odds being loaded against him or her, typically kicks ass in the end. Our heroes often exude coolness and stratospheric talent that sometimes makes him nearly invincible in our rock culture. Notice how I mentioned “our” rock culture because believe folks it’s way beyond today’s pop culture schematics. I mean seriously….. Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber and all the goofs that hide behind auto-tune effects never made a blip on our radars, but these cats did!
